Forward make the big screen

Forward Industrial used a 24 metre square screen at i-Centrum in Birmingham to promote their business to Made in the Midlands members this month.

This was a great opportunity for Forward to showcase, educate and show off their capabilities as a leading, forward-thinking British distributor. With so many companies seated and eyes-front listening, it was a swift way of broadcasting the strong brand that backs up the Forward offering as a leading world-class distributor of parts to the manufacturing industry.

Forward Sales Manager Keith Johnson delivered the fully interactive presentation to members, outlining the company’s ethos and its strategy of ‘Source, Supply and Integrate’.

Keith explained how Forward works with their customers by assisting them by sourcing critical parts for MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) to enable them to maintain a healthy production line. This follows Forward’s recent and ongoing marketing campaign to their growing client base offering MRO as a primary service.

He went on to outlined how the smooth running of a manufacturing operation was vital in order to prevent delays and costly hold-ups in maintenance cycles.

After Keith’s moment on the big screen, the time was given to AGILON®. Forward have exclusivity within the fasteners industry for the use of AGILON®, which is a modular inventory and management system that can be used across a variety of different sectors.

Members were given a demonstration of the sourcing capabilities of Konecranes’ AGILON® material handling solution. They were also shown how the modular design enables AGILON® to fit into warehouses on many shapes and sizes, depending on the footprint available.

Keith Johnstone  said “We are grateful for the platform offered to us by Made In The Midlands, and we will continue to find opportunities to showcase what we have done, what we can do, and what we aim to do for the future of distribution, MRO and manufacturing companies in the UK and worldwide.”
